Why did the chicken cross the road?
What do you call a pig who does karate?
You'll have to ask your child for the punchline!
Ok, to the serious business...Thank you to those who were able to come to curriculum night as well to those who contacted me if you couldn’t. I used our classroom webpage as the foundation of the presentation. Please check the drop-down tabs to get information about curriculum, policies, resources, and student websites. Our website will be updated regularly and will be THE communication hub for our school year. Please give me feedback as to other information that would be helpful to have on our page or anything else that might need fixing. I’d like to highlight the “Curriculum Overview and Resources” and the “Homework-Game and Home Connection” pages as they have links to useful resources.
We have been building our classroom community around QAE’s 5 Pillars:
The fabric of our school is woven together with a variety of threads. This week we will be welcoming volunteers into our classroom. I would like to take this time to thank you in advance for helping shape all our kids and being part of our community, learning together. Our fabric is unique largely due to our community volunteers.
Thank yous:
Kristin and Oma (Iris’ mom and grandma) for sewing bright new pillowcases for our classroom!
Heidi (Nicholas’ mom) for organizing volunteers, picture day and countless ways of keeping us informed and organized!
Celeste for taking care of lots of little tasks in the morning!
Until October....
